Wow, what a week! GRAMMY week is officially over and I can't believe how amazing it was to be a member of the GRAMMY in the Schools Media Team. In addition to learning great tips on video and photo editing: my on camera confidence soared! Now I feel more prepared to pursue a career in the music journalism industry. One tip I would give a student pursuing a career in the music industry is to take the time to build relationships and stay in contact with those professionals you have met on your journey.

My favorite moment during GRAMMY Week was interviewing Andra Day. I am such a huge fan of hers and have been listening to her album 'Cheers to the Fall' nonstop since it was released. It was incredible to witness Andra Day's dedication and insightfulness to music education.

I am sent out my college applications and my future plans are to attend a university in Los Angeles where I would like to major in business with a minor in journalism. I also cannot wait to get more work experience through internships and jobs. This experience is one I will never forget, from editing all day to covering and reporting from the GRAMMY Awards Red Carpet, I will cherish every moment. Thank you for following me along this inspiring journey.
