The most significant moments of my life thus far can be catalogued with music, staring into the night. Back when I was in sixth grade I listened to Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon album to help me prepare for the first week of the awkward middle school years to come.  From then on, I was hooked on the fact that the solace of a song and the lure of the mysterious yet relatable idols behind them could form who I become. Living just outside the beautiful city of Chicago, I have had music culture and tradition just within my reach. Being a member of the GRAMMY in the Schools Media Team is what all those tunes, and my love for the intricacies of the artist’s names adorning them, have led up to. I could not be more thoroughly stoked and honored to be in the company of the industry’s finest- it is the opportunity of a lifetime to say the least.

I have a love for all things alternative, rock, blues, and folk  When I’m not working at my local coffee shop I can be found as working as the Editor in Chief of my school online newspaper, Voyager, and a member of the nationally competing film and television program. I have been able to experiment and grow as a writer to work towards turning mundane interviewing into storytelling. I hope to further this throughout my time in Los Angeles as I approach the end of my senior year of high school. While I have stepped on many a red-colored carpet in my day, the moment I report from the GRAMMY red carpet and hear the stories of those who have inspired me, along with hearing those from the GRAMMY Camp – Jazz Session, will be the moment that I know I am where I am meant to be.
