Hunter Hayes To Perform At GRAMMY In The Schools Live!

Five-time GRAMMY nominee Hunter Hayes will perform with members of GRAMMY Camp — Jazz Session at the sixth annual GRAMMY In The Schools Live! event presented by Ford Motor Company during GRAMMY Week. More than 400 students from the greater Los Angeles area— including 375 from the L.A. Unified School District — will be joining in this special celebration. Prior to the concert the students will have participated in the GRAMMY Foundation's GRAMMY Career Day program at their school with the support of LAUSD's Beyond The Bell Branch. GRAMMY Career Day is a one-day event that brings top music industry professionals together with high school students to make them aware of careers that are available in music and present a behind-the-scenes look into the industry. These students were also given a careers-in-music lesson taught by their music teachers and developed by the USC Thornton School of Music.

This post originally appeared on December 16, 2014, and Hunter Hayes performed at the 2015 GITS Live! Concert in Los Angeles.
