Los Lonely Boys Donate GRAMMY Camp Scholarships

GRAMMY-winning pop/rock group Los Lonely Boys (Henry Garza, Jojo Garza and Ringo Garza) presented a check worth $10,500 to support three years of a full GRAMMY Camp scholarship for qualified Texas-based applicants. Announced during a tour stop in San Antonio on July 30, Los Lonely Boys' scholarship will be awarded for three consecutive years starting in 2016, and will be valid at any of the camp's residential locations.

GRAMMY Camp, now celebrating its 11th year, is the GRAMMY Foundation's signature music industry camp for U.S. high school students. GRAMMY Camp offers selected high school students an interactive residential summer music experience. Focusing on all aspects of commercial music, this unique opportunity provides instruction by industry professionals in an immersive creative environment with cutting-edge technology in professional facilities. In 2015 residential GRAMMY Camps were held in Los Angeles and Brooklyn, N.Y., and a day camp was held in Nashville, Tenn.

Texas-based Los Lonely Boys released their eponymous debut studio album in 2004. "Heaven," which reached No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, won a GRAMMY for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal. The trio's subsequent releases include 2006's Sacred, 2008's Forgiven and the holiday-themed Christmas Spirit. Their most recent album, 2014's Revelation, cracked the Top 30 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart.

Los Lonely Boys are currently in the midst of a U.S. tour, with dates scheduled through February 2016.
