Get Involved

Alumni:

  • Who taught you to play? Who brought you music? Honor a music teacher's efforts by nominating him or her for the GRAMMY Music Educator Award.
  • Check out our Facebook and stay in touch with us and with your co-alums.
  • Submit your entry to be featured at “In the Studio” on grammyintheschools.com so your ideas and your work can be heard.
  • Check out other GRAMMY in the schools programs!
  • Send us an email and tell us what you wish we had on the site that we don’t – what would make it an even better place for you if you were still just getting started. If we can figure out a way to do it, we’ll give it a shot.

Parents:

Boy, are we glad you are here. So we can first say thank you for being supportive of your kid’s love of music. We can speak from experience that working around music is an incredibly rewarding choice. You are already giving them a leg up on everyone else and we want to make sure you are proud of that! Nice work.

  • Celebrate your child's music teacher by nominating him or her for our Music Educator Award.
  • Get your student to apply for GRAMMY Camp and make sure to apply for financial assistance if that is appropriate to your circumstances.
  • Get your student to apply for GRAMMY Camp – Jazz Session
  • Get your students to submit to be featured on grammyintheschools.com’s “In the Studio” so their ideas and your work can be heard.
  • Make sure that your student’s school is applying to be a GRAMMY Signature School, or to be considered to participate in a GRAMMY Career Day.
  • Send us an email and tell us what you wish we had on the site that we don’t – what would make it an even better place for students and parents who care about music. If we can figure out a way to do it, we’ll give it a shot.

We can also award your music program with a GRAMMY Signature Schools grant. Please, please, please take time to check it out and apply. It’s really simple.
