GRAMMY Camp, GRAMMY in the Schools Media Team

About Me

I have been involved with the GRAMMY Foundation for the past four years. I have attended GRAMMY CAMP NY 2013, GRAMMY Camp-Jazz Session 2014, GRAMMY Camp LA 2014, and GRAMMY Camp NY 2015 for the Video Production and Motion Graphics Track. In 2014, I attended GRAMMY Camp - Jazz Session as a member of the GRAMMY in the Schools Media Team and was able to work as a Red Carpet Reporter at the GRAMMY Awards. GRAMMY Camp has given me the technical and entrepreneurial skills I need to succeed in the music and film industry. GRAMMY Camp has allowed me to collaborate, improve my editing and filming skills, and teach me how to thrive in the music industry.

Outside of GRAMMY Camp, I have played piano for twelve years and alto saxophone for nine years. I am currently in my high school’s jazz band, wind ensemble, and pep band. I have been involved with the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Youth Opera Council. I have also worked for Fresh Films/Dreaming Tree Foundation on the feature film, “The Stream” in Philadelphia and Chicago. I also worked on several Public Service Announcements and have served as a film mentor to teenagers in Boys and Girls Clubs of America. As a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, I am the featured videographer for Music in the Schools 2016.
