GRAMMY Band
The GRAMMY Band brings together the best high school jazz musicians in America for a week-long tour. This elite group of 18 represents the highest caliber of musicianship in the country.

The selected members form a big band and take part in the “GRAMMY Jazz Tour” during GRAMMY Week, featuring at premiere jazz venues and official GRAMMY Week functions alongside GRAMMY Nominees, winners, and other music pros. They even attend the GRAMMYs.

Previous guest artists with this program include:
Patti Austin, Terence Blanchard, Kurt Elling, Dave Koz, Hubert Laws, Dave Liebman, James Moody, Oscar Peterson, Tito Puente, Arturo Sandoval, Carlos Santana, Esperanza Spalding, Kirk Whalum, and Cassandra Wilson.

In Tune With Education
GRAMMY Camp—Jazz Session also places a focus on career development and continued education. Our four College Partners lead the way, making available scholarships and financial aid totaling ~$2 million each year for members of the Jazz Session. Also, program participants will have the opportunity to meet and speak with representatives from each of our College Partners on "College Day." Parents are welcome to join!
